Provides integration and deployment of secure systems.
Drafts technical documents related to activities to include engineering documents, artifacts to support the C&A process, and other technical documents as required.
Assists SDMI Director in Business Development activities by providing technical input for Proposals and Performance Based Marketing.
Position will support SDMI on an as needed basis to support specific sponsors requiring cyber expertise or to assist SDMI in developing new proposals.
Job Responsibilities: - Performs system integration and system test activities; Performs security assessments and recommends mitigations; Performs system integration activities; Conducts Vulnerability Scans; Conducts Penetration Tests; Troubleshoot security and network problems (40%) - Authors technical documentation; Authors engineering and C&A documentation; Performs design and development activities; Reports progress and status to management; Author security policies and procedures, security assessments and incident response plans (35%) - Business Development and Client Relationship Management; Assist with proposal development by providing technical input; Assist in marketing activities through the performance of outstanding client work (10%) - Provide network monitoring and network admin services for the SDMI Secure network; Troubleshoot security and network problems (10%) - Other duties as assigned (5%) Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2-4 years experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree; Software development experience to include OpenVAS, nMap, Metasploit.
Experience working with virtualized environments.
DoD/IC experience.
DoD Certification and Accreditation experience to include the secure configuration and validation of IA controls.
