*Lead Teacher/Apprentice Teacher dynamic*
In our K-5 classrooms, we have two teachers who work together to ensure each of our scholars are receiving what we truly believe to be the best education for all.
In the simplest of terms, the Lead Teacher leads, while the Apprentice Teacher (AT) shepherds.
This means that while each teacher has his or her own role, they must work well together as a united front.
While many ATs prefer this role long term, they are continuously mentored by their Lead and encouraged to grow into the Lead role at their own pace (sometimes in the same year).
