Preschool Teacher Assistant/Floater

Gateway Preschool and Technology Center is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Preschool Teacher Assistant/Floater to join our growing childcare facility.
This role is to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs to facilitate the development of children ages 18 months- 4-year-old.
This role will be responsible for monitoring, interacting and teaching children while enhancing the learning environment at our school.
RESPONSIBILITIES * Engage with young children in activities that are age-appropriate while bearing educational merit * Foster a positive and healthy learning environment * Ensure the classroom is kept in a clean and safe condition at all times * Read stories to the children as a group activity * Encourage creative thinking and learning * Interact with other teachers and administrative staff as needed QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience working in Child Care * A background check * Strong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children * Patient and supportive approach to the learning process * Enthusiastic and encouraging * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to stand and move around for long hours at a time while teaching BENEFITS * Great Pay * Health Insurance * Dental and Vision Insurance * 401K * Paid Vacation * Paid Holidays * Bonuses Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
