Job Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate lecture/lab courses in production and post-production.
Mentor students with individual and class projects.
Prepare students for professional careers in the industry.
Administration, development, and management of the Film and TV BFA degree program.
Leadership in artistic projects such as film festivals, internships, student networking projects.
Actively pursue a national and international program of research/creative scholarship/activity in film and digital media.
Be actively involved in relevant professional organizations and with industry entities.
Provide service to the department, college, and university.
Minimum Qualifications: Master of Fine Arts degree from an accredited program or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in the film-making, television, and digital media industry.
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years academic teaching experience.
Experience in academic program administration.
Experience in producing, writing, and/or directing for established studios, networks, or platforms as well as independent films/smaller works.
Experience with film festivals.
