Description Job Summary The Coordinator for the Registrar’s Office at the Baton Rouge Campus reports to the Campus Director for the School of Nursing Baton Rouge Campus.
The position assists students with the registration process, completing drop/add forms, accepting applications for degree, VA certification and inputting data into the student software.

* Assists the university in implementing the Statement of Purpose.
* Assists the university in implementing the long-range institutional and financial plans.
* Actively work at establishing positive relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
* Performs duties related to the Registrar function while maintaining a close liaison between the Hattiesburg Registrar’s Office and the Baton Rouge campus.
* Responsible for the day-to-day student business related operations on the Baton Rouge campus which include the following: * Prepares and maintains academic files on all Baton Rouge students.
* Maintains utmost confidentiality on all matters concerning student records.
* Responds to all requests for information concerning registration and veteran affairs and certifies qualified veterans.
* In cooperation with the Registrar on the Hattiesburg campus and the Baton Rouge Admissions liaison, helps provide a smooth transition from applicant to registrant.
* Assists in planning and implementation of registration activities.
* Inputs student data into student tracking software.
* Participates in campus activities and graduation ceremonies.
* Remains cross-trained on other student services positions to provide student assistance during employee absences.
* Serves as back-up for student services employees during lunch or absences.
* Participates in the annual evaluation of the effectiveness of the Registrar’s Office and School of Nursing.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
