*Job Summary*
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular contact with customers and warehouse staff in order to respond timely, and in a courteous and effective manner, to customer requests for product, including processing the receipt and shipment of stored inventory, balancing customer accounts daily, handling complaints, and preparing monthly invoices and inventory reports.
*Special Qualifications, Education or Licenses:*
Minimum educational requirements from an accredited college or university include:
Two (2) years progress toward a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, Associate Degree, Technical Arts Degree, and/or Equivalent Experience and Skills.
Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Shipping/Receiving Office experience preferred, with DOT placarding experience a plus.

* Ability to operate a computer terminal, computer printer, typewriter, calculator, facsimile machine, copier, and telephone.
* Ability to move freely about an office to access materials and use equipment.
* Ability to perform correctly from memory and create complicated procedures after a suitable period of training.
* Ability to maintain stamina and productivity throughout an eight (8) hour work day and work overtime as required.
* Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Absenteeism, tardiness, and the inability to complete an entire shift are grave and unacceptable disruptions to our Company’s ability to service our customers.

*Job Responsibilities:*
* Effectively operate Company and customer computer hardware and software to maintain accurate and organized records of inventory and shipments.
* Verify shipments received, posting and filing receiving documents.
* Document and notify customers of receiving discrepancies and/or damaged product.
* Verify shipping orders, assign product to and create work orders, and type bills of lading.
* Coordinate with supervisors and carriers to ensure product is correctly shipped.
* Accurately enter shipping/receiving data in computer system, and balance accounts daily.
* Pull reports from inventory system, prepare accurate monthly customer invoices, and send timely to Accounts Receivable.
* Track/Trace orders in the system as requested.
* Identify work done outside of customer’s contractual agreement, collecting and reporting activity timely and accurately so customer can be invoiced properly.
* Enter compliance items, non-compliances, and acknowledge good performance in CIS Quality System on a regular basis.
* Participate in Company’s annual physical inventory count.
* Answer and route telephone calls promptly.
* Respond timely to customer and supplier inquiries.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers keeping lines of communication open and sharing feedback with management, including reporting signs of customer dissatisfaction.
* Meet or exceed production goals while upholding the Company’s “Every Order Perfect” philosophy and ensuring “Zero Defects” in support of our Quality Program.
* Perform others duties as may be assigned from time to time.
