Orion Laboratories is seeking an experienced Medical Courier to join our growing team, in Baton Rouge, LA.
As an Orion Medical Courier, you will be responsible for the pick-up, transport and delivery of medical specimens while delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.
*SCHEDULE:* Monday - Friday 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM shifts and 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM shifts Saturdays 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM shifts Sundays 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM shifts \*Rotation of shifts based on schedule.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Complete a daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner based on route software system * Delivers all daily pick-ups to the laboratory safe and efficiently when prompted by depo stops or at the end of your shift * Deliver exceptional customer service to the clients while picking up specimen * Evaluate traffic delays, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed * Works directly with dispatch team for additional pick-ups or STATS * Some routes require driving to cities outside of Baton Rouge, LA * Service with a smile! *QUALIFICATIONS:* * High School Diploma or equivalent * Valid Driver's License and clean driving record * Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not mandatory * Previous experience with medical transport * Reliable personal vehicle * Dependable and assertive to properly handle unexpected issues * Experience using an iPhone or Android for logistical software *BENEFITS:* * $14-$18 per hour plus mileage expenses if using personal vehicle * Included with this position is a company vehicle to use on the route Work Remotely * No Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.
